Kim Zhang Mao

Kay’s work blends a myriad of processes and media that merge together seamlessly to insinuate contemporary issues of censorship in Asia. Each and every one of the Kim Zhang Mao’s is a direct result of unrestrained colliding of divergent media into a single rendering; showing Kay’s course of action and structural development in amalgamating convergent elements such as found printed materials, laser printing, acetone applique, acrylic paint, tagging, sanding and even folding the material itself so that it transcends its own nature.
